Mit diesem Eintrag ändet mein Tagebuch in Deutschland.
Morgen um halb 9 geht mein Flieger nach Chicago und von da aus dann nach Des Moins, Iowa:)
Meine Gastfamilie wird mich dann dort mit dem Auto abholen und somit beginnt mein großes Abenteuer!
Es ist schon i.wie komisch, dieses Gefühl, morgen ist man für eine lange Zeit nicht mehr in seiner gewohnten Umgebung… Es ist ein tolles Gefühl, ich freue mich auch sehr, denn ich habe über ein Jahr auf diesen Moment gewartet, aber es ist auch verwirrend und so langsam kommt die Nervosität 
Die ganze Zeit war ich total locker, großartig geändert hat sich das nicht, aber ich denke, wenn ich heute Abend meine Koffer schon mal einchecken lasse & meine Repräsentanz mir Viel Glück wünscht, wird das sicher noch früh genug kommen.
Heute treffe ich mich noch mit zwei meiner Freunde und dann lass ich es ganz ruhig angehen, keine Hektik, damit auch keine Panik entsteht, dass ist ab jetzt mein Motto 
Gestern war ich nochmal schön essen und joa heute Nacht gehts dann los zum Flughafen… Ich bin ja mal seeehr gespannt 
Wie schon gesagt, dieses Tagebuch endet auch mit meiner Abreise, weitere Infos, Bilder, Berichte etc gibts dann unter dem etwas passerenden Namen, schauts euch einfach an <3

-Abreisedatum am 16.08 dass heißt in 8Tagen!!!

On july 30th I celebrated my goodbye party with all my friends. It was hilarious!
I have the best friends ever & I am so thankful to call yall my friends!
I got amazing presents from those people & I will take some pictures of every single present I got.
And by the way I need to mention, that the party would have never been that good without Lea, Biene, Sarah& Ella who helped me to plan everything & who helped to tidy up the chaos on the next morning=)

12(!!) days left till august 1st!
That is craaazy…. of course I am excited and happy about it but I am getting nervous and scared as well.
Melissa and Bene will leave Germany on august 1st, Ella just a few days later and Conny and I still do not know anything
But no matter what will happen during these few days, I am going to pack my bags in 12 days!
Tonight we’re going to party in Frankfurt and I am happy to spend a whole night partying with Lea,Biene and Sarah (: I loooove u guys!
Time is still running & I will inform you about everything ( the new entry is probably going like this: oh my gosh just 3 days left and tonight is my party

First of all : I am bored AS HELL !
My friends are shopping ( my goodbye present, so I was not allowed to come with them 
) & I am sooo sick and tired about waiting for so many things…
I need to wait for my hostfamily to be found, I need to wait till the day I will leave & so on…
Yesterday our Rep. Mrs Müller-Stach invited us all to come to her house, to see each other again& to talk to the reeturnes about their exchange year.
It was really nice, altough I didnt hear something brand new, but I’ve seen Ella, Benedikt& Constantin again ( the guys from the train ride to Essen ) and so we all had a good time.
Later on I’ve met Lea& Biene at the s-bar till around 10 o’clock after that I went to a friends birthday party. ( by the way, happy birthday Vanessa <3)
Yep & now there are just 22 days left till the first american exchange students will leave for their biggest adventure ever & I am really jealous of not leaving with them so soon
Like I’ve already told you, I am disappointed about not having any information about how my exchange year will be like ( neither where I am going to live, nor with who and when…)
But I know, it wont get any better, to feel disappointed all the time, I should really just think about the time I am able to spend with my loves & I need to enjoy every single day, altough some days are just borring like this on
I could go on writing but there are no specific things to say anymore.

Yeeah I finally got my Visum, to enter to the US. (gosh I am glad, that it’s over =) )
We went to the Consulate in Frankfurt to apply for my non-immigrant-visum and so I got to wake up eaaaarly in the morning, too early I think but it was worth it of course:)
Now I am allowed to enter& live in the USA for a certain time <3
All in all there are no news, no host family yet, what makes me feel very disappointed
It’s nearly July,so I finally need to buy some bags and write a packing list
Current situation in life:
Yesterday the German national soccer team lost against the Spanish team…. but I am not as disappointed as many others, because Germany is the seccond best soccer team in Europe, so nothing embarrassing I think
(and by the way, beeing a Vize-Europmeister isn’t bad at all, ’cause I am too )
I just gotta wait for my family and I am really looking forward to meet Melissa on wednesday in Frankfurt, another exchange student. We’re going shopping & I am sure it’s going to be a good time <3

Ich hab viiiel zu erzählen, deshalb muss ich ausnahmsweise mal auf deutsch schreiben (geht schneller).
Ich habe am 30.06 einen Termin, um finally mein Visum zu bekommen und ich kann euch sagen, dass ist ne komplizierte Sache und ich bin froh, wenn ich das Visum endlich habe.
Gestern Abend bin ich aus Essen zurückgekommen, wo wir ein dreitägies Vorberteitungsseminar absolviert haben. Es war echt klasse, viele neue Leute kennengelernt, super wichtige Informationen bekommen+besprochen und viel Vorfreude haben wir mitgenommen.
(Bin ja froh, dass wirs noch gefunden haben : ,,wieso steht ihr eigentlich Duisburg?!“ )
Ich freue mich nun noch viel mehr auf das Jahr, obwohl ich noch immer sehnsüchtig auf mein placement warte, aber ich lenke mich ganz gut ab
Am Freitag fangen hier die Ferien an, ich bekomme mein Zeugnis, habe mein Praktikum für die 12 und bin rund um mal ganz zufrieden. Ich halte euch weiter auf dem laufenden.

Hey guys.
Yesterday I finally got my ,,Visaunterlagen“. It is pretty amazing, because I will have to go through an interview to get the visum, but I think it won’t be very difficult at all.
The Americans from Nashville Tennessee will arrive at about 9 o’clock and I am sooo excited to see them all. Unfortunately Matt won’t come with them, because his Mom did not want him to spend so much money on this trip I miss my little angel, hope to see him ever again..
As you can read under ,, How it all started“ the American exchange students were one of the main reasons why I started thinking of an exchange like that and so I am nearly thankful, because the time they will spend here is ,,just“ one month, but an exchange is always amazing with so many new experiences and friendships. I really hope they gonna have fun here in Germany like the others had last year. It’s gonna be fun
I will let you know if I will hear something new about my hostfamilie, it is nearly July and I am a little nervous, because I didn’t get my family yet but I am an optimist, sometimes

When I came home from school today I got a letter from my organisation, Euro Vacances, who told me that I got my partner organisation, Nacel Open Doors.
I screamed and I was soo happy <3
Hopefully I will get my host family soon but I will have to wait..
doesn’t matter, I am so happy, sun is shining, everything is great and I got my organisation !:D

Europameisterschaft 2008!
Wuaahh ich bin noch immer aufgedreht und glücklich ohne ende!
Gestern war die Euro in Holland und wir sind doch echt…. tam tam tam VIZE – EUROPAMEISTER geworden
Es war ja leider mein letztes Turnier für die nächste Zeit aber mein vorzeitlicher ,Abschied’ hätte nicht besser sein können! Ein Jahr haben wir für diese Saison trainiert, 2 Wochen haben wir ALLES gegeben und jetzt haben wirs endlich geschafft. Nebem Vize – Deutschermeister, auch noch Vize-Euro!
Mädels ich liiiebe euch, die Lochmühle wird klasse
Heute Abend haben wir die Musikauswahl und wir sehen die DVD von gestern, ich freu mich!
3 1/2 Months <3
oh my gosh another 3 1/2 months till august 1st!
I am sooo excited and can’t wait, but it is weird to know that time is running so fast and I want to do as much as I can to enjoy my time here in Germany before I will leave.
I will write in English because I have to practise a lot so here I go.
I came home from our classtrip to Berlin! It was pretty cool, the city is beautiful and the shops are full of beautiful dresses and everything(:
Of course the class did a lot together, especially my roommates Tugba,Vanessa, Romina, Duygu, Hannah and I spend most of our freetime together, going shopping, talked a lot and had so much fun.
I really enjoyed the trip and actually I miss our small room and the loud voices from my class but I still see them all at school, so everything is okay
There are a few pictures I will upload from Berlin, so take a look and message me, I would love u to do.
Hopefully I didn’t make a lot of mistakes in my first english entry *g*
Its gonna be may soon, so hopefully I will get my hostfamily and the placement, but I’ll let you know (:

endlich.
Endlich haben wir Ferien & endlich sind die schriftlichen Abiturprüfungen überstanden.
Ich freue mich total über unsere Ferien, auch wenn es draußen wieder gefühlte -10°C sind, aber okay, Ferien sind Ferien.
Die Physik LK Leute haben nun auch endlich die letzte schr. Arbeit abgelegt und heute Abend gehts erstmal richtig feiern, viel spaß meine lieben <3
(I wish I would be 18…)
Von meiner Organisation gibts leider nichts neues zu berichten, aber es ist ja auch erst März…
Nach den 2Wochen Osterferien gehts ab nach Berlin, ich freu mich =)

Es sind noch genau 148 Tage, dann ist endlich August!
Es ist ein wenig Schade, dass mittlerweile ein weiterer Monat dazu gekommen ist, denn die USA Fahrer müssen sich wohl noch bis Mitte August gedulden :/

Am Samstag, den 01.März war unser 1.Vorbereitungstreffen, mit den Ehmaligen, unsere Rep. und natürlich, uns den ,,exchange students“ (:
Ich hab mich unglaublich gefreut, nun auch endlich mal die Anderen kennenzulernen, die genauso verrückt sind so lange ins Ausland zu gehen , wie ich *g*
Einige hatte ich ja schon beim SLEP Test gesehen, aber an diesem Mittag hatten wir endlich die Chance einander etwas besser kennenzulernen.
Zu aller erst musste sich jeder vorstellen, seinen Namen, Alter und Land sagen, bis wir dann alle in Gruppen eingeteilt wurden, indenen wir einen Fragebogen beantworten mussten und uns untereinander noch unterhalten konnten.
Besonders toll fand ich, dass wir die Chance hatte den 4 Ehmaligen Fragen zu stellen und am Ende auch noch eine Adressenliste bekommen haben, wo wir alle E-Mail Adressen etc erhielten.
Es fahren zwar nicht alle in die USA (es sind auch Leute dabei, die nach Kanada, Neuseeland, Urugay, Argentinien etc gehen) aber wir haben ja alle einen Traum, also alle genug Gesprächsstoff (:
Als nächstes steht jetzt erstmal im Juni das Vorbereitungswochenende in Essen an, das sicher auch nochmal super klasse wird! Ich freu mich jedenfalls!(:
Achja, morgen schreiben unsere 13er die 1.Abiturklausur (Mathe) ! Ich wünsch besonders Nadine, Meli, Sascha,Jan und Kerstin, Jul viel Glück!
Ich hab auch noch ein haufen Zeugs zu erledigen… also bis demnächst <3

Bis Juli sind es noch 136 Tage <3
Es passieren momentan sehr viele Dinge aufeinmal und doch scheint die Zeit nicht rumzugehen.
Doch neben meiner ,,to-do“ list kommen auch Gedanken an den Abschied dazu, die mir doch ein wenig Bauchschmerzen bereiten. Es wird sicher nicht leicht und ich werde euch alle sehr vermissen.
Und trotz allem zähle ich die Tage und liebe jeden Tag, den ich noch hier bin und liebe doch die Träume, indenen ich schon in den Staaten bin und meinen Traum lebe.
